Description

Let’s get you moving from “I have a maybe idea” to “I have a fully finished digital guide I’m ready to start selling now“!

You have a ton of ideas, experiences, and skills. You’ve navigated challenges that taught you how to solve problems. You’ve developed your own ways of moving through life that work. You know how to help people.

You just don’t know where to start. And every time you try to pull it together into something actionable, it feels messy, overwhelming, and endless. All the advice out there telling you to start with tactics, validation, research, ideal client avatars, pre-selling…  all of it putting your unique skills and experience on the back burner while you question if any of your ideas are even worth pursuing in the first place.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign that’s it time to share what you know, this is it.

Because I’m going to give you a clear, step-by-step way to create a digital guide that actually leans into your unique magic, that supports the people you’re meant to help, and that lets you turn ideas into real and concrete offers that you can start selling now.

That’s exactly what Design Your Digital Guide is for.

Why a “Digital Guide”?

digital guide is an intentional and well-designed learning experience that moves someone from Point A to Point B on purpose. It’s strategic, hands-on, and gets people actual results, not just information they’ll never apply. It’s the way into your business for most people, where you meet them at one place in their journey or experience.

When someone finishes your guide, they don’t just understand something better. They’ve made a decision. Built a system. Created a plan. Solved a problem. They walk away with something concrete they can point to and say, “I did this.”

And because it actually works, they come back. They tell people about it. They trust you enough to buy your next offer, and the next one… You’re helping people, earning, and building a real community on what you do not just the tactics you employ.

Why I Created This Program

(and how digital guides let me breathe & earn)

When I was leaving my career, the truth is I didn’t have capacity for very much.

I was exhausted. Carrying a lot of emotion: anger, fear, failure, guilt, shame. I had no extra time. This was just before COVID started, so everything felt extra noisy and loud.

And trying to start a business from that place, even when I had all these ideas and hope and wanted it more than anything, was really tough. Especially when all the online advice was rooted in the noise of marketing tactics (market research, idea validation, ideal client avatars, pre-selling, complicated launches…)

So I leaned into the ONE thing I really knew how to do well: create learning experiences.

But I had zero mental, emotional, or energetic capacity for big classes, handling tons of students, or a calendar filled with 1:1s. So I started creating digital guides.

Not ebooks or templates. Actual learning experiences like mini-courses without videos that moved people through a process and got them results without me needing to be there live.

And it worked.

I’ve been designing learning experiences for almost twenty years now: university courses, professional trainings, programs for government and national defense, international organizations, and my own clients and students. This is just how my brain works: I’m obsessed with taking ideas and turning them into transformations.

What I’m teaching you in this course is the exact process I use every single time I design one of my digital guides.

The actual steps that get you from “I have this idea” to “I have a finished guide ready to sell.”

And the best part? This is something you can use every single time you create a new guide. It’s not a one-off formula. It’s a repeatable process that works.

What you get:

  • A complete & finished digital guide that actually gets people results (not just information)
  • A repeatable process you can easily use every time you create a new digital guide
  • The “Digital Guide Mapper” plug and play database that helps you turn your ideas into a real learning experience and full outline that you’ll write directly from
  • My personal “Digital Guide Template” in Canva with full layout, design, and sections already created to hold your ideas and teachings (no fussing over what goes where and why)
  • The “Worksheet Library” in Canva with 5 visual teaching aids and 30 unique worksheets you can use to bring your exercises to life & get your students results
  • A clear & honest way to talk about your guide that doesn’t feel gross or extractive
  • The confidence to price fairly and sell consistently without all the tactics

What you’ll do in this program:

Part 1: Getting Clear on What Your Guide Is About

Most people stay stuck because they can’t pin down their idea. It feels too big, too vague, or changes every time they think about it.

In Part 1, you’ll get clear on:

  • Who your guide is for (without falling into demographic traps or trying to appeal to everyone)
  • What your guide actually helps with (the concrete, observable result, not just abstract feelings like “confidence” or “clarity”)
  • The before and after experience your guide addresses (so you know exactly where someone starts and where they end)
  • Your focus statement: the anchor that keeps you from scope creep and second-guessing every decision as you build

By the end of Part 1, you’ll have a clear, specific idea you can actually design around, not a vague topic that keeps shifting every time you sit down to work on it.

Part 2: Designing Your Digital Guide

This is where most people either wing it or copy what they’ve seen in other guides and end up with something that feels repetitive, disconnected, or like it’s not actually moving anyone forward. And, where most ideas for guides become just information dumps.

So, in Part 2, you’ll learn how to:

  • Map the learning journey from start to finish using my custom Digital Guide Mapper plug and play (not just broad topics, but the actual steps someone needs to take to get from where they are to where they want to be) and I’ll walk you through how to use it in a video lesson
  • Use the 6 core types of exercises strategically (so you’re not defaulting to reflection questions or journal prompts for everything or overwhelming people with too many tasks at once)
  • Design a complete outline that shows you exactly what belongs in each section, and what your student walks away with

By the end of Part 2, you’ll have a solid, usable outline that you’ll directly write from. No more guessing. No more staring at a blank page wondering what comes next or what you should include or leave out. And, no more random info dumping! This is the map that gets your clients to the result!

Part 3: Bringing Your Guide to Life

Now it’s time to actually write your guide!

In Part 3, you’ll learn how to:

  • Start writing & where to start and use this to build out your guide
  • Use your own stories and examples to make your guide feel grounded, real, connecting with your students, and like you’re actually in the room teaching
  • Write in your own voice so it sounds like you’re talking to a real person, not performing marketing or trying to sound “expert-like”

You’ll also get access to the Digital Guide Template & Worksheet Library in Canva: pre-designed layouts to work exactly with your outline and exercise formats so you’re not starting from scratch or stressing about design choices. I’ve included a video lesson where I’ll walk you through how to work with and make the most of the templates + some Canva tips and tricks for making them your own!

By the end of Part 3, you’ll have a complete draft of your guide!

Part 4: Getting Your Guide Ready to Sell

Your guide is done! Now you need to get it ready to put out there!

In Part 4, you’ll:

  • Do a final polish check (if you struggle with perfectionism, this is for you!)
  • Name your guide in a way that’s clear and honest
  • Price your guide fairly based on transformation, effort, sustainability, and what’s actually reasonable for you and the people you’re helping
  • Write a sales page that explains what your guide does, who it’s for, and what someone walks away with so the right people can recognize it and say “yes”

By the end of Part 4, your guide has a name, a price, and a clear description. It’s ready to sell!

Part 5: Sharing & Selling Without the Ick

This is where most people freeze up or disappear entirely (and I’ll talk about how this was a really personal struggle for me in my business).

Because, they don’t know what to say. They don’t want to sound pushy. They’re terrified of being “salesy.” The idea of having to try to convince people that your guide is worthy and gets the transformation is exhausting. All the traditional sales tactics and sales psychology feels manipulative and gross. So they post once, feel weird about it, and rarely mention it again.

So, in Part 5, I’ll show you how to:

  • Reframe what “selling” actually means (hint: it’s just explaining what you made and who it’s for)
  • Pick one platform and start there (you don’t need to be everywhere, you just need to show up consistently in one place right now)
  • Use the 5 core post types you can rotate through so you’re never starting from scratch
  • Follow a simple “Your First 7-days Selling” plan for your first week of sharing (where I’ll show you what to post on each day so you have a grounded way to start letting people know your guide exists)

By the end of Part 5, you’ll have shared your guide multiple times in multiple ways! And all without hype, without urgency tactics, or feeling like you’ve compromised who you are.

This program is for you if:

  • You’re trying to start a business but don’t have capacity for 1:1s, live teaching, or constant offer launching
  • You have skills and experience you know could help people, you just need a clear process to turn that into something meaningful you can sell
  • You’re tired of courses that teach you to manufacture urgency, create ideal client avatars, prioritize market demand, or use tactics that make you feel ick
  • You want to create something once and sell it over and over, without having to show up live every time
  • You’re ready to actually finish something instead of tiptoeing around in your head trying to make it perfect before you start

Ready to finally create your digital guide?

Once you purchase the program, you’ll receive a link in your email that will give you immediate access to all 5 Parts of the program (20 lessons), the Canva digital guide template, the worksheet library, and the digital guide planner. You can complete these at your own pace! The lessons are print-ready .pdfs so you can do them from anywhere at any time!

IMPORTANT:

In order to use the course materials (templates + planner) you’ll need to have a Canva account and Google Workspace, specifically Google Sheets. It’s free to sign up to both and you do not need a premium account to work with the course materials.

You don’t need to be an expert in either! I’ve included video lessons where I walk you through every step of how to use them and personalize them to your own style!
